- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar (divided)
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped onions until translucent (about 5 minutes).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, ketchup, and half of the balsamic vinegar.
- Transfer the mixture to the loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Brush the remaining balsamic vinegar over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for approximately 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
