  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or 2 tsp fresh)

Instructions

  2. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add onions and sauté until translucent (about 5 minutes). Stir in garlic for an additional minute.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until tender (approximately 5 minutes).
  4. Pour in chicken broth and add thyme. Bring to a gentle simmer while stirring.
  5. Incorporate the shredded chicken into the mixture. After about 10 minutes of simmering, stir in heavy cream and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
