  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach (optional)
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant and golden brown.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet; cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and half of the grated Parmesan cheese; simmer for about five minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Toss the drained rigatoni into the creamy beef mixture until well combined.
  6. Serve hot, garnishing with remaining Parmesan and fresh spinach if desired.
