- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1–2 green chilies, finely chopped
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tsp cumin powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 10 samosa wrappers (store-bought or homemade)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the filling: Dice the chicken into small cubes. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté onions until translucent. Add garlic and green chilies; cook until fragrant.
- Add spices: Stir in cumin, coriander, and garam masala. Add diced chicken; cook for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
- Mix herbs: Once cooked, add cilantro and season with salt. Let cool slightly.
- Assemble samosas: Place about a tablespoon of filling in the center of each wrapper, fold into triangles, and seal edges with water.
- Fry: Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry samosas until golden brown on all sides (about 3-4 minutes). Drain on paper towels before serving.
