  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch springform pan.
  2. Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan over low heat; stir in cocoa until smooth. Remove from heat and mix in eggs one at a time.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt; fold into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth; add sour cream, sugar, and vanilla; mix well. Beat in eggs one at a time until incorporated.
  5. Layer half of the brownie batter in the pan, top with cheesecake filling, then finish with remaining brownie batter. Swirl gently if desired.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until edges are set but center jiggles slightly. Cool completely before removing from the pan.
