Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • Olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey or brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar.
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets in half of the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove salmon from marinade and place skin-side down in the air fryer basket; drizzle with olive oil if desired.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Drizzle with remaining marinade and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
