- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- Olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey or brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar.
- Marinate the salmon fillets in half of the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Remove salmon from marinade and place skin-side down in the air fryer basket; drizzle with olive oil if desired.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Drizzle with remaining marinade and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
