  • 1 cup pearl onions (peeled)
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Wash spinach and remove tough stems. Peel pearl onions.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until foamy. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add pearl onions and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender and caramelized.
  4. Fold in the fresh spinach until wilted (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Pour in heavy cream, stirring gently, and let simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and nutmeg; season with salt and pepper to taste. Let it meld together for another 2-3 minutes before serving.
