Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Reserve some pasta water and then drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy (about 5-7 minutes). Add garlic during the last minute of cooking.
  3. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and mix in the Parmesan cheese, then stir in the heavy cream until smooth.
  4. Combine the drained spaghetti with the bacon and garlic off the heat. Quickly stir in the egg mixture until creamy; add reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
