- 3 tbsp cold water
Instructions
- Bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over cold water in a small bowl; let it sit for about 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla bean seeds (and pods). Stir until warmed and sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into individual molds or serving glasses. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
- To serve, gently run a knife around the edges and invert onto plates or serve straight from the glasses. Top with fresh berries or chocolate sauce if desired.
