Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews)
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (at least 70% cocoa)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix oats and nuts until combined.
  3. Melt dark chocolate chips in intervals in the microwave until smooth.
  4. Stir in honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract into the melted chocolate until well blended.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the oat-nut blend and mix thoroughly.
  6. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish.
