  • 8 tbsp (1 stick) butter
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 slices crispy bacon, crumbled (plus extra for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for topping)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
