Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside if using.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onions over low heat and cook until golden brown (about 10-15 minutes).
- Roll out pizza dough to desired shape on a floured surface.
- Transfer dough to a baking sheet or pizza peel. Spread half of the mozzarella on top.
- Layer with apple slices, chopped bacon, caramelized onions, and remaining mozzarella.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
