  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the ziti in boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onions and minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned; drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cooked ziti with meat sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
