- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes. Add diced onions halfway through cooking until softened.
- Drain excess grease if desired, then stir in the cream of mushroom soup and garlic powder until combined.
- Layer half of the tater tots in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Spread the beef mixture evenly on top and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
