- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 soft pita breads
- 2 cups crisp lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup cucumbers, diced
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate chicken by mixing olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add chicken and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken for about 7-8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the chicken cooks, prepare the fresh veggies by chopping lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
- For the tahini sauce, whisk together tahini paste, lemon juice, minced garlic, water (if needed), salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Once the chicken has rested for five minutes, slice it into strips. Assemble wraps by layering chicken on warm pita bread with veggies and drizzling with tahini sauce.
