Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk (whole or non-dairy)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, eggs, and vegetable oil until blended.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix additional sugar and cinnamon for swirling. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it, then repeat with remaining batter and topping.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
