  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp gelatin powder
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp rum or bourbon

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat heavy cream, eggnog, and sugar over medium heat until warm.
  2. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over 3 tablespoons of cold water and let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the cream mixture from heat; stir in bloomed gelatin until dissolved.
  4. Pour into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  5. For the cranberry sauce, combine cranberries, sugar, water, and spirits in another saucepan; cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and sauce thickens (about 10 minutes).
  6. Serve panna cotta topped with spiked cranberry sauce.
