  • 1 to 1.5 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil (for searing)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (toasted)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and honey until smooth.
  3. Marinate the pork tenderloin in half of the marinade for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat; sear the marinated pork on all sides until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  5. Pour the remaining marinade over the pork and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Roast for 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Allow resting for five minutes before slicing. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
