  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 large eggs

  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the choux pastry by melting butter in water over medium heat. Add flour, stirring until it forms a ball.
  2. Let cool slightly before gradually mixing in eggs until smooth.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and pipe or spoon dollops of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown; do not open the oven door during baking.
  5. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold in lemon zest, juice, and sugar.
  6. Once cooled, slice puffs open and fill generously with lemon cream.
