Description

Mini Apple Pies are delightful, bite-sized desserts that combine a flaky crust with a warm, spiced apple filling. Ingredients

  • 2 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 package (14 oz) store-bought pie crusts
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 egg mixed with 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out pie crusts on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick and cut circles for muffin tin cups.
  3. In a bowl, mix apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice until well-coated.
  4. Place a dough circle in each muffin tin cup and fill generously with the apple mixture. Top with butter pieces.
  5. Cover each filled cup with another dough circle and seal edges tightly.
  6. Brush the tops with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
