  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (bell peppers, spinach, or onions)
  • ½ cup cooked meat (bacon or ham, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into circles for muffin tins.
  2. Grease the muffin tin with nonstick spray. Place puff pastry circles in each cup.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Fold in cheese and any chosen vegetables or meats.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into each pastry-lined muffin cup until nearly full.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin. Serve warm or at room temperature.
