  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup pecans (toasted)
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar until bubbly, then pour into the prepared pan.
  3. Evenly sprinkle toasted pecans over the caramel mixture.
