- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Soak dried porcini mushrooms in warm water for about 20 minutes until plump. Reserve some soaking liquid.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent.
- Add soaked mushrooms and reserved soaking liquid to the skillet. Cook for around 10 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
- Pour in vegetable broth and balsamic vinegar; simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
