Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, and egg. Mix well and form into four equal patties.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear patties for about 3 minutes per side until browned but not fully cooked. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add mushroom soup and beef broth, stirring to combine and scrape up browned bits.
  4. Return patties to the skillet, add Worcestershire sauce, and simmer covered for about 10 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed before serving with gravy over patties.
