  • 1 lb shrimp (deveined and tails removed)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine (like Sauvignon Blanc)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbly. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in white wine and simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly reduced.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet; cook until pink and opaque, approximately 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Toss cooked pasta into the skillet with shrimp, adding lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well, adding reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
  6. Serve immediately with extra parsley on top.
