Ingredients
- 3 lbs pork shoulder
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp paprika
- ½ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 8 slider buns
- ½ cup dill pickles, sliced
- 6 oz Swiss cheese
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and season generously with salt and pepper. Sear in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
- Place sliced onions and minced garlic in the slow cooker. Set the seared pork on top and sprinkle with cumin, oregano, and paprika.
- Pour orange juice and lime juice over the pork. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until easily shredded.
- Shred the pork using two forks and return it to the juices in the slow cooker.
- Assemble sliders by placing shredded pork on each bun half, topping with Swiss cheese and dill pickles before covering with the top bun.
