Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz ribeye steak
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs (oregano and basil)

Instructions

  1. Slice the ribeye against the grain into thin strips and season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sear the steak strips in batches for about 3 minutes per side until browned but slightly pink inside. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and stir until slightly thickened.
  5. Return the steak and drained spaghetti to the skillet, mixing well while gradually adding reserved pasta water until desired sauce consistency is reached. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with additional Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired.
