Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cups jasmine or basmati rice, cooked
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and cornstarch for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil and sauté the marinated chicken until golden brown and cooked through (7-10 minutes).
  3. Add the green beans to the skillet; cook until tender-crisp (4-5 minutes).
  4. Drizzle in more soy sauce and a splash of water if needed; simmer until thickened (2-3 minutes).
  5. Serve over fluffy rice, garnished with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
