  • 1 lb fresh button or cremini mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and trim tough stems.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Toss in the mushrooms along with soy sauce, black pepper, and lemon juice. Stir well to coat.
  4. Cook for 5-7 minutes until mushrooms are golden brown and tender.
