  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by slicing ribeye against the grain and chopping onions, peppers, and mushrooms.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté onions and green peppers until soft (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add mushrooms and cook for another 3 minutes. Then, stir in ribeye steak, salt, and pepper; cook until beef is browned (4-5 minutes).
  4. Reduce heat to low and place provolone cheese on top of the steak mixture. Cover until melted.
  5. Slice hoagie rolls open lengthwise and fill with the cheesy steak mixture.
  6. Serve hot with chips or fries.
