- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Mix in the almond or peanut butter and maple syrup until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine oats and cocoa powder, then gently fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
