Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank or sirloin steak
  • 8 soft slider buns
  • 1/2 cup cowboy butter (made from 1/2 cup melted butter, 2 cloves minced garlic, 2 tbsp chopped parsley, 2 tbsp chopped chives, salt and pepper to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Optional toppings: cheese slices, pickles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cowboy Butter by mixing softened butter with garlic, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a hot skillet over medium-high heat, sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness is reached. Allow the steak to rest for a few minutes.
  4. Slice the rested steak against the grain into thin strips.
  5. Spread cowboy butter inside each slider bun. Add sliced steak on top and any optional toppings before closing.
  6. Serve immediately with any remaining cowboy butter drizzled on top.
