  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup French fried onions (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes, then transfer to ice water to cool.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Stir in the blanched green beans and half the French fried onions until well coated.
  5. Pour into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Top with remaining French fried onions.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
