Ingredients

Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs vigorously until they triple in volume and turn pale yellow (about 5 minutes).
  3. Gradually add sugar while continuing to whisk until fully dissolved.
  4. Sift together flour and baking powder, then gently fold into the egg-sugar mixture.
  5. Mix melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract into the batter until smooth.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pans, filling them two-thirds full. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and springy to touch.
