Honey Lemon Chicken

Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
For the Chicken
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 lemon lemon slices for serving

Method
 

Marinate the Chicken
  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, soy sauce, and black pepper.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  3. Brush the grill with olive oil to prevent sticking, then place the chicken on the grill.
  4. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and juices run clear.
Serve
  1. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Slice the chicken and serve it garnished with chopped parsley and lemon slices.

Notes
